The organizing question on every profile is the same one we ask venues: what do they actually publish, and what do you only find out after you make contact. 19 of the 91 publish a price on their own site. Another 18 carry only a marketplace starting figure, and 54 publish nothing at all. Each page says which.
The categories are uneven on purpose. Photographers and videographers are the deepest, because that is where Westchester couples do the most comparing. They are also the easiest to verify. A studio with a real portfolio of county weddings either has one or it does not. Caterers are the thinnest relative to demand, because most venues in this county run their own kitchen and an off premise caterer only matters at a raw space, a tent or a historic house.
A number of the businesses working Westchester weddings are not based in Westchester. They come up from Manhattan and the Bronx, across from Connecticut, down from Dutchess and Orange.
