Waterfront and Hudson River Wedding Venues in Westchester

Every venue in our Westchester directory that sits on the water, with what each one publishes about access and price.

Westchester touches water on two sides. The Hudson runs the length of its western edge, and Long Island Sound takes the south east corner from Pelham through Rye. Those are two different weddings.

A Hudson venue sells you a view west, which means sunset photographs and a wind that comes off the river in the late afternoon. A Sound venue sells you a beach club, and most of those beach clubs are private. Read the access line on each card before you read anything else.

Every venue on this page also appears in its main category. This page exists because water is the reason a lot of couples pick a room, and no other Westchester directory sorts on it.

5 of these sit on the Hudson and 14 on Long Island Sound. The rest are on a lake, a reservoir or a river inlet. The two coasts are not interchangeable: the Hudson gives you a west facing sunset and an afternoon wind off the water, and the Sound gives you a beach, a harbour and, in most cases, a membership question.

That question is the reason to read the access line first. Of the 20 venues here, 9 can be booked by a couple with no member connection, 4 require a member to host or sponsor the event, and 7 publish nothing that answers it. Several of the best water views in the county belong to clubs that will never sell you a Saturday.

8 of the 20 have a per person figure on record from any source at all, first party or marketplace. That is the state of pricing in this county, and it is why every listing here leads with what is published rather than with a photograph.
