The company sells full bands and orchestras, DJs and MCs, and specialty acts, so a couple can put the whole music budget through one contract. What it does not sell publicly is a number. The length of the track record is the clearest thing on the site. Over 50 years is a long run in a business where bands dissolve after a season. Two offices in two markets, each with its own phone number, also says something about how the company works. You call, someone picks up, then a proposal comes back.
The absence of pricing is ordinary for bands. Ensemble size drives cost more than anything else, and a five piece and a twelve piece are different products at different prices. Some band companies still publish a floor. This one does not, on its own site or on its marketplace listing.
The menu covers wedding bands and orchestras. DJ and MC service sits beside it, and so does specialty entertainment. For a couple who wants a band for the reception and a DJ for the after party, that means one vendor rather than two. One certificate of insurance, one point of contact on the day.
The quote you receive may bundle several line items into one figure. Ask for them separated. You want the band price on its own line, the DJ price on its own line, and any lighting or effects broken out, so that cutting one does not mean renegotiating all of it.
The award the site puts at the top is from 2015. That is the only dated credential anywhere on the page we read, and a couple planning a wedding now is entitled to something more recent. It says nothing bad about the company. It is simply not current evidence.
Recent proof is easy to request. Three Westchester weddings from the past two seasons, with the venue name and the month, would settle it. So would the name of the bandleader who will actually be on the stand at yours.
