This figure comes from the company’s own cinematography page, not from The Knot or WeddingWire. That makes it quotable in a way a marketplace filter number never is.

It is still a starting collection. Ten hours and a three to five minute film is the base. Documentary length ceremony edits and speech cuts sit above it, as do a first dance cut and engagement films. The page prices none of those. Ask for the whole collection sheet, with every tier and every add-on on one document.

The collections above the base are worth pricing too. A starting figure of $2,500 usually sits under two or three larger collections, and the studio knows exactly what those cost. A sheet with every tier on it takes one email to produce, and a studio that will not send one is telling you something.

In-house editing is a real operational claim

The studio says all filming and editing happens at the Garden City studio with nothing outsourced. Outsourced editing is common in wedding video, and it is usually why delivery slips. Six Westchester rooms sit in the portfolio

Six county rooms are shown. Whitby Castle and Tappan Hill Mansion are two of them. Lyndhurst Mansion and Crabtree’s Kittle House are two more, with Sleepy Hollow Country Club and Westchester Country Club completing the set. For a Long Island studio, that is a serious county footprint.

Pick one of those six and ask for the full film from that wedding, and who shot it. A studio with 25 years behind it has had crews come and go.

Which of those six weddings is closest to yours in size and format is worth establishing. A small dinner and a large ballroom reception are different jobs for the same crew, and a collection that covers one can fall short on the other. Pin down how many operators the $2,500 collection actually puts in the room.

Travel into Westchester is quoted before booking

The gap sits between two pages. The photography side of the business indicates no travel fee for Westchester. The cinematography page says only that travel outside the regular area is quoted before booking. Those are different promises, so get the video travel figure in writing for your venue’s address before you sign anything.
