This studio publishes a 2026 price sheet, in public, with figures on it. Essential Max Photo starts at $2,000. The top tier, Max Deluxe Photo and Cinema, is $18,000. It includes a leather album, metal wall art and an engagement session. Albums run $700 to $1,500 depending on the book, and engagement sessions run $250 to $1,500. All of those are first party numbers from maxdawsonstudio.com rather than a marketplace listing. The studio is in White Plains and works White Plains and Westchester, plus New York City and roughly an hour out. Coverage tiers span 5 to 11 hours. The price sheet also bands by location, which is the detail most couples miss until the quote arrives.

This is first party pricing from the studio’s own 2026 sheet, which makes it the most checkable set of numbers in this group. Read the tiers as two variables. Hours run from 5 to 11, and photographer count moves alongside them. Then apply the location band for your venue. The same tier costs different amounts at the studio, inside an hour, in the county and in the city. Confirm the band in the contract.

The studio’s own 2026 pricing page at maxdawsonstudio.com/pricing2026. It lists the photo and cinema tiers and the album and engagement session prices. The 5 to 11 hour coverage range and the four location bands are there too. Checked September 2026. First party means the business’s own site or rate card. Marketplace means The Knot, WeddingWire, Zola, Wedding Spot or similar. Nothing here is averaged or estimated.

Four location bands, and your venue sits in one of them

The 2026 sheet prices differently depending on where the wedding is: at the studio’s own location, within about an hour, in Westchester, or in New York City. That is unusually explicit, and it is the single most useful thing on the page.

It also means a headline figure quoted to a friend is not your figure. Before you set this studio beside another, work out which band your venue falls in and get the price for that band in writing.

The $2,000 to $18,000 span is a real spread, and the tiers explain it

Essential Max Photo at $2,000 is one photographer. The Special 1.5 and Special 2.5 tiers add two lead photographers, which is a different proposition from a lead and an assistant. At the top, Max Deluxe Photo and Cinema at $18,000 folds film and photo together and includes products.

Coverage runs 5 to 11 hours across the tiers. Hours and photographer count are the two variables that move a photography price more than anything else, and here both are visible before you call.

Albums and film are priced separately, and that is stated

A 12x12 leather wedding album holding 50 images is $1,500. A parent album is $1,000. A keepsake hardcover is $700. Engagement sessions run $250 to $1,500.

On the moving image side the studio sells highlight trailers and documentary films running 45 to 120 minutes. A 45 minute film and a 120 minute film are very different edits, so confirm which length your tier includes rather than assuming the long one.

What to still get in writing

Published prices are a strong signal, but they are not a contract. Ask what an hour past the eleven at the top tier costs, and when files and products arrive. The deposit and cancellation terms have to be stated alongside.

Pin down which named photographers are assigned on the two lead tiers. Then confirm the location band on the contract itself, so a Westchester venue is not quoted at the studio rate and billed at the New York City one.
