Two separate vendors means two timelines, two arrival times and two sets of opinions about where the ceremony camera goes. Keeping both under one roof removes that negotiation.
Find out how many people are on the crew for each side, and whether the lead photographer is also the lead filmmaker. The film deliverable should be defined in minutes before you sign anything.
The tradeoff is concentration. If the studio has a bad day, both deliverables suffer. There is no second vendor whose footage can cover a gap. Ask what the backup plan is for illness and for equipment failure, on the camera side and on the film side.
The Knot listing shows no figure. The studio’s own venue page shows no figure. Photography and film are typically quoted together here, which makes the combined number harder to compare against two separate vendors you might otherwise hire.
Get the photography price and the film price broken out, even if you intend to buy both.
The celebrity and corporate side of the business is relevant to your quote in one specific way. Studios that shoot commercial work carry commercial rates and commercial insurance, and a Saturday given to a wedding is a Saturday not sold to a brand. Establish where wedding work sits in the price list.
A studio that travels internationally usually has a travel fee structure. For a wedding twenty minutes from home in Westchester, that structure should produce a zero. Get that written down rather than assumed, along with any second day or rehearsal dinner rate.
